People make money different ways. I have received the following scam SMS already twice this year:

I am contacting you on behalf of my employer who is interested in working with you after finding your
contact information on the Internet directory of your Chamber of Commerce.
My employer is the Owner of F-R, UK, and we are based in Scotland. We provide consultation and advise
to clients wishing to invest in the UK. Usually, for clients investing elsewhere, we have
associates/affiliates that are referred, but our client has chosen your country as a good destination to use
her assets as investments and we presently do not have any affiliates of associates in your country.
We have therefore decided to get other professionals, like you, based in your country to collaborate with
us in establishing a company or several companies under which we shall execute our client’s brief. Her
priority will be Property Development and Tourism, where my employer is an expert, whereas we will also
provide Loan/Venture Capital Services in other sectors.
Under Venture Capital, we shall focus on companies in Healthcare and Agriculture but our focus will
mostly be on Renewable Energy companies. It is important to note that the amount to be invested is USD
60, 000, 000 (Sixty Million US Dollars).
I have sent you this missive as a proposition to be our partner/associate. If you have any interest in this,
and have projects that need funding, we can finance them via these new companies. If not, since we still
want to work in your country, you could refer us to other companies/individuals that may be interested and
get a commission for your effort. As I advised above, our client has chosen your country and this is
because we believe that the economy of your country will grow significantly over the next 5-10 years.
